Ingredients:

  • 1 spoon Mustard Seed (Mouri)
  • 2 tablespoon Oil for cooking
  • 1 spoon Cumin seeds
  • 4 to 5 Curry Leaves
  • 4 Garlics
  • 1 Tomato Choped
  • 1 Cup Crushed Coconut
  • 1 spoon Turmeric Powder
  • 1 spoon Red Chilli Powder
  • 2 Cup Hot Water
  • 1 Cup Tamarind and Jaggery water
  • 1 tablespoon Besan

Instructions:

  1. Take one Vessel, add 2 tablespoons of Oil to it, and heat the gas at medium flame for 1 minute.
  2. When the oil is heated then add mustard seed in it, After mustard seeds ad Cumin Seeds in it.
  3. Now add garlic to the oil and fry it for some time. After garlic add the curry leaves in it and fry it also for some time till it cracks.
  4. After that add chopped tomato and Grinded Coconut Powder in it. And mix it well for 2 minutes.
  5. Add one spoon of turmeric powder and one spoon of red chili powder in it and mix it well. Now you have to add one spoon of salt as per taste and after it add 2 cups hot water and water of jaggery and tamarind in it.
  6. Now mix it well for 4 to 5 minutes at a medium flame of gas.

This is your Maharashtrian Famous Amti ready, you can enjoy the amti with rice or chapati or bhakri.
