Milk pedha recipe ingredients:

  • 15 oz (1.5 cups) Ricotta Cheese
  • 1 tablespoon ghee
  • 1 cup Milk powder
  • 1 Cup powdered Sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Elaichi powder
  • 1/8 teaspoon Saffron strands
  • 1 teaspoon Pistachios
  • 1 teaspoon butter


  1. To make the milk pedha firstly take ricotta cheese and put it in a non-stick pan. Take a non-stick pan and put it on medium flame gas.
  2. Stir is continuously till the cheese from ricotta cheese will melt completely.
  3. Keep stirring till the whole moisture from the ricotta cheese gets evaporate. This process of evaporating will take 15 minutes.
  4. Now add the butter to the pan and mix it completely.
  5. Stir it again continuously, after adding the butter the mixture will become like dough. Then add the milk powder in it.
  6. Mix it completely until the whole mixture combines.
  7. Now add powdered sugar in it and mix it again.
  8. Now off the gas and take out the pedha mixture in one bowl.
  9. Give it 2 to 3 minutes to cool down.
  10. Your Milk pedha is now ready, so you can eat it now. Or you can serve it by designing it with pistachios.
  11. You can store or eat this pedhas for 2 to 3 days.
