Prepare the lentil filling (puran) by boiling chana dal (split chickpeas) until soft.

Drain excess water and mash the dal.

In a pan, heat ghee, add mashed dal, jaggery, and cardamom powder.

Cook the mixture until it thickens and forms a smooth consistency.

Let the puran cool down to room temperature.

Prepare the dough by kneading wheat flour with water and a little oil.

Take a small ball of dough, flatten it, and stuff with the puran. Roll it into a flatbread.
