Prepare a thin batter with besan and water.

Heat ghee or oil in a special ladle with small holes (boondi jhara).

Pour the batter through the ladle into hot oil, forming tiny boondis.

Fry until the boondis turn golden and crisp.

Make a sugar syrup with water and sugar, boil until sticky.

Add the fried boondis to the sugar syrup, mix well.

Shape the mixture into round balls to form Motichoor Ladoo.
